Vesper 3 is an entirely new loudspeaker, inspired by the unprecedented success of the Carmel 3. Listeners around the world have loved the Carmel for one thing above all: reference performance in a compact, beautiful form that lives gracefully in real rooms.

Vesper 3 delivers a similarly elegant and compact design as a three-way loudspeaker, bringing further dynamic scale and bass depth. It is the end result of a three-year program to develop a new loudspeaker, underpinned by extensive research and simulation. The science showed us what was possible, and our ears told us that it was real.

It uses our hybrid Lattice tweeter, in combination with 18 cm (7.25”) midrange and 22 cm (8.75”) bass drivers, each with advanced motor designs and YG’s proprietary aluminum cones. Linking them is a third-generation Ultracoherent crossover, benefitting from proprietary YG components and the new understandings gained in our Titan research program.

The result is a loudspeaker with the Carmel’s poise, precision and elegance, coupled with even greater authority. Music unfolds in a broad, deep space, with genuine weight and effortless dynamics. The finest details survive intact within the largest climaxes. As with the Carmel, the scale of sound seems to belong to a far larger loudspeaker.

Most importantly, Vesper 3 embodies the essence of YG’s trademark sound. It delivers that critical sense of musical involvement that is expressed in goosebumps and an addictive desire to continue listening for hour after hour.
